Life ever get busy? Really? It isn’t just me?  Glad to know I have a sympathetic reader then. Yeah, I have been on the run lately, trying to get a lot done, with only so many hours in a day. Somethings had to drop off, and since this blog doesn’t pay the bills…

I have been taking a new course for my job. It is pretty busy and it was all new to me. It is six months long and eventually I will need to do an additional two months residence portion. Also, I am the only person from my branch of service in my class. A little culture shock thrown in for fun too! Yay!

Yeah,  it is a military course.  It  will make me better at my job and all, but it does eat up some time. I think I am finally getting my rhythm, so I should be able to get back to keeping everyone updated as well as working on my writing.

Yeah, my writing…That’s right, I have come full stop on my book too. Exactly the opposite of what I would tell anyone else to do!  There was just so much screen time in my life with this new responsibility that I couldn’t stomach any more. If you have ever stopped writing on your own project, then you know the drill. It went from every other day, to twice a week to nothing.  I am embarrassed and ashamed to admit it. But I would be more ashamed to think I was hiding anything. This is life folks, and sometimes we don’t perform as well as we would like. I trust you can relate and forgive me. (I know I am laying it on pretty thick!)

I do have some exciting personal things coming up that I will be sharing with you, but I going to save those for now. We can list some of these things under “on scene research” and “life experiences”.  Hope that interests you enough to come back and check in!
